It's no secret that Pokemon GO has recently received a new update from Niantic. However, a new one has been released, only it arrived as a surprise. It's basically meant to bring performance stability to the so-called Pokemon GO Plus device. Moreover, the Egg Tracking feature has also been improved.
The aforementioned Pokemon GO tool, in its most organic, is a wearable tech that allows players to hatch eggs and catch monsters a lot easier. And take note: both of these can be done without having to use the mobile phones.
To ensure the stability of Pokemon GO Plus in every smartphone, Niantic has released a new update, as reported by Otakukart. The only catch, however, is it arrived like a thief in the night. The said update requires players to own an Android version of at least 4.4.
But of course, the studio doesn't only mean to enhance the above-mentioned Pokemon GO device. Niantic has also brought improvements to the Egg Tracking feature of the game. And sure enough, it has been improved significantly.
According to reports, the average tracked distance for the Pokemon GO Egg Tracking feature is around 9.5 to 11 KMs. Now, with the new update, it has been brought to a whopping 13.676 KMs. This is definitely a better figure than the previous one.
Moreover, lots of Pokemon GO fans noticed that the tracker tends to get updated more often than ever. If anything else, it seems Niantic did it specifically for players living in urban areas. There's even a report about the game being recorded at a distance of 20 to 30 seconds, dramatically changing the direction of a particular movement.
Below are some of the new improvements brought to Pokemon GO Egg Tracking feature:
- 15% - 20% improvement in tracked distance.
- Pokemon GO Egg Tracker tends to work significantly when moving straight, but barely updates when turns are made.
- When turns and/or random directions are made, it doesn't lose distance -- at least for the time being.
- GPS loss, unlike before, doesn't already penalise tracking.
- Buddy KMs are designed to synchronize with all egg KMs, though the rounding is a bit different.
