Blizzcon 2016 is an event in which Blizzard Entertainment may soon announce new and upcoming games. Such games may include a possible Diablo III sequel or StarCraft HD edition.
Blizzard Hints Blizzcon 2016 Diablo Announcement
Last month, Twitter user Big Ryan posted a tweet hoping that Blizzard will have something for Diablo fans. He and other were surprised when the Blizzard replied by saying that "BlizzCon will be really cool this year."
Many Diablo fans were speculating what kind of Diablo will be announced in the upcoming Blizzcon 2016 event. Some speculated that Blizzard will release Diablo II update using the latest 3D game engines. This rumor is based on a 2016 Blizzcon poster that could be seen here. One of the characters featured a Diablo character that looks like the Lord of Evil in Diablo II. Others believed that it may be some sort of prequel or sequel and even a Diablo IV.
There are also rumors that Blizzard will unveil a Diablo III expansion instead. It's no secret that Blizzard was looking for a new Diablo game director for quite some time. It may also be possible that Blizzard will unveil a Diablo mobile game version.
Nevertheless, fans are almost certain that Blizzard will announce some sort of Diablo game at the 2016 Blizzcon event. This has been confirmed by a former Blizzard Community Manager who said that "fans would lose their****" at the upcoming 2016 Blizzcon event. Fans are hopeful that Blizzard is not kidding them.
StarCraft HD Launching on 2016 Blizzcon?
There are also rumors that a remake of the original StarCraft will be announced on the upcoming 2016 Blizzcon event. Blizzard was supposed to unveil it this September. But for some reason it did not happen. There are rumors that the StarCraft HD will feature something extra for the fans.
