iPad Pro 2 Rumors: Everything We Know So Far

Apple products tend to take a relatively long time before they receive an upgrade. And while this does not mean that the current items are eventually left in the dust, users are usually left with the same product for quite a while. Fortunately, however, Apple does make the wait worth it. This time, it the all new A10X chip on the upcoming iPad Pro 2.

iPad Pro 2: The New Chip On The Block

According to MacWorld, the iPad Pro 2 will be powered by the A10X, which is the newer version of the A9X and is built on smaller FinFET technology.

A new processor tends to mean more power for the unit, so the iPad Pro 2 could arrive to the market with more tricks and features hidden underneath the screen.

iPad Pro 2: Expected Features

For example, Tech Mic notes that the iPad Pro 2 could be water resistant, just like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, this is also likely to mean that the tablet will not sport the standard 3.5mm audio jack, depending on the general feedback of those who are using the Lightning port. This also makes it possible to the upcoming tablet to sport the dual-lens camera currently seen in the Apple flagships.

Furthermore, the device is expected to arrive to the market with a better battery life and a better camera. Nevertheless, it is also expected to get smaller in terms of width and weight.

iPad Pro 2: Variants

The upcoming device is expected to come in three variants, in order to cater to the different needs of each user. Other than the existing 9.7 inch and 12.9 inch variants, Apple is expected to offer a 10.5 inch variant as well.

iPad Pro 2: Release Date And Price

There has been no official announcement from Apple, but the new tablets are expected to arrive on March 2017. Just as well, the same price range of US$ 599 to USD$799 are estimated.
