Some were not surprised about the leaked images since there have been rumors about an AC Egyptian setting for quite some time. This recent post merely confirms it. However, many have also dismissed the recent leaked image as a fake.

What Does the Assassin's Creed "Empire" Leaked Image Shows?

The image heading states that it's a Prototype 1. The logo Assassin's Creed Empire could be seen in the upper right corner of the screen. Perhaps he is owner of the MSI laptop?

Assassin's Creed "Empire" Storyline

The AC "Empire" storyline reportedly a prequel that is set before the Assassins and Templars' timeline. There are also rumors that the game would somehow have a look similar to the "Witcher" game.

Ubisoft Confirmation and AC Empire Release Date

These rumors have yet to be officially substantiated by Ubisoft. There are also reports that there will be no Assassin's Creed games slated for release this year. This may mean that the AC "Empire" installment will have a possible release date on 2017 or beyond.

Ubisoft usually releases an Assassin Creed game every year. However, the dismal performance of Assassin's Creed: Unity has forced its development team to regroup and find ways to revitalize the game franchise.
