Skyrim Remastered Update: Console Commands Not Happening

One of the biggest titles coming is Bethesda's highly anticipated Skyrim Remastered. Sure enough, lots of fans are eager to acquire the game. However, they need to remember (especially the ones on either PS4 or Xbox One) that the various console commands won't be happening. Here's why.

Since day one, fans have been wondering if the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Skyrim Remastered will feature the so-called console commands. After all, it's a great way to experience the game as a whole. Unfortunately, as reported by GamingBolt, it won't be happening -- at all.

Bethesda's very own Pete Hines has finally shed some light on one of the biggest questions ever asked for the forthcoming Skyrim Remastered. A fan, via Twitter, asked Hines if the aforementioned concept will happen in the remastered title. In his response, he confirmed that it won't be and that they won't even be giving any access to such.

It's worth noting that for now -- even before Skyrim Remastered was conceptualized -- mods are the only way for players to control their gameplay experience. Heck, they can even do so once they apply the necessary changes. Unless of course if they're using PS4 in which mods won't happening.

In relayed Skyrim Remastered news, trophies and achievements are already confirmed to be included in the title. These features have long been in the rumor mill, but were only recently unveiled through Hines. Moreover, the rumors about a new DLC coming alongside the remastered title have been debunked.

Skyrim Remastered is slated to hit the shelves later this month. It'll be made available across PS4, Xbox One and PC.
