Enough with "Dragon Ball Super" spoilers for now as the show shared to fans a fun fact about Son Goku in its current episode. In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61, Goku was caught in a situation where he was forced to admit that he has never kissed anyone in his entire life.
The current episode of "Dragon Ball Super" has just revealed that Goku has never kissed anyone before, not even his wife Chi-Chi. For most of "Dragon Ball" fanatics, this revelation might be a long-time hidden secret.
How come then that Goku is married and he has not kissed anyone, not even his wife? Well, writers or whoever is responsible for how the story runs may have some explaining to do for fans. As to why the iconic animated character has never had an intimate scene with anybody in the series, there must be a couple of reasons. For one, the team behind "Dragon Ball Super" might have considered its demographics which usually, for animated series, are teenage boys. As Comic Book put it, "Dragon Ball is a series that thrives off intense battle sequences. As such, anything touchy-feely like kissing is often looked over."
On how Goku confessed of himself not having kissed anyone ever since, here's a recap: Trunks tried to save his girlfriend Mai by kissing her, while Vegeta was watching by the side. Silent as it was in the room, Vegeta turned to Goku and asked: "You've never kissed before?" That's where the naive Goku broke out the revelation by responding: "Of course, not." Vegeta even questioned if the poor guy is really married, to which Goku replied, "Is that somehow related?"
Flashback to the time when Goku and Chi-Chi were married in "Dragon Ball" anime episode, the couple had not been shown locking lips. During "Dragon Ball Z," it was not detailed whether the couple kissed even if they already had their first son Gohan.
Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 63 titled "Vegeta's Fierce Battle" is spoiled to fight against either Black Goku or Zamasu.
