Potterheads and movie buffs rejoice as news broke out that all the "Harry Potter" movies will be released again on theaters for a whole week before the official premiere of the new movie, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The spin-off movie is set to release on November 18.
According to IMAX and Warner Bros., all eight movies will be in theaters starting October 13. This amazing stint is to honor J. K. Rowling for the upcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off movie. Aside from that, fans will be given a huge treat as an exclusive unreleased sneak peek from the new "Harry Potter" movie spinoff will be revealed as well on the same date in selected theaters.
As part of a worldwide event, fans of the movie franchise will also be treated to surprise appearances of the stars from the film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" in theaters all over L.A. and London.
Fans are hyped over the fact that the first two "Harry Potter" movies, namely "Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone" and "Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets" will be finally released in IMAX theaters.
There will be three viewing options available for fans including Single Ticket Day Access, which shall admit to three or more shows in one day; Four-Show Access, which admits to four shows any time on any day; and the Festival Access, which entitles one to unlimited admittance throughout the event. Tickets are now available for purchase on IMAX's official website.
Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment, told Variety that "'Harry Potter' is one of the most beloved film franchises of all time is incredibly important to the history of IMAX. Therefore, being able to offer each installment- especially the initial two for the very first time in IMAX- makes this a truly magical event for fans."
The "Harry Potter" movie franchise, adapted from the books written by J. K. Rowling, is one of most successful movie adaptation gaining a spot along the likes of major Hollywood movie series such as "Star Wars" and "James Bond." The first "Harry Potter" book was published by Bloomsbury in 1997 and the first movie was released in 2001. The "Harry Potter" film franchise is the second highest-grossing film as of 2015.
