The Australian drama “Wentworth” is no less than popular. Its wide audience internationally has been engrossed in its storyline that shows a tough life in prison involving betrayal, death and deception. Above all the challenges, the series captured the hearts of millions with its heart tugging drama as characters fight for their dreams and lives.
With the biggest reveal of the previous season, “Wentworth” Season 5 is likely to air in the second quarter of next year according to The Bitbag.
Bea Smith’s death is but devastating to the show and its supporters. Despite some speculations that she is still alive and will be induced in a comatose state in the new season, the show’s producer already verified Bea’s downfall.
“It is always an incredibly difficult decision to say farewell to a much-loved and revered character like Bea Smith which is why this storyline has had such a huge impact on us all and we are sure fans will feel the same. This decision was particularly hard as it meant also saying goodbye to Danielle Cormack,” Jo Porter confirmed.
Joan Ferguson, played by Pamela Rabe, is the culprit on Bea’s tragic death and is strongly rumored to be the next top dog due to her strong killing skills.
But the villain has a deadline in paying her long list of cruelties and evil doing.
Some Reddit users have came up with their hypothesis on the fate of Ferguson according to a report. Although Allie Novak and Kaz Proctor are ideal candidates to kill her out of revenge for Bea’s upsetting death, the two do not display the characteristics of a murderer.
Here’s the catch. Ferguson will be relocated to another correctional facility where Jodie Spiteri (Pia Miranda) is the top dog and Spiteri is presumed to retaliate to Joan on what she did to her in the past. Her anger towards Ferguson may lead to “The Freak’s” death.
To recall, Spiteri was manipulated to self-harm by Ferguson in season 3 of the series.
Should these theories come to fruition, Bea’s death will finally meet the justice it deserves.
