The Surface Pro 4, the Surface Pro 3 and the Surface Book are all getting Microsoft's new batch of updates. The company announced the said updates in its blog last October 5.
It was said that the newer Surface devices are getting up to nine updates that are intended to improve their touch stability, battery life and more. The older models, on the other hand, are only getting up to two updates that will improve their modem's stability.
Surface Pro 4 2016 Update
The said Microsoft update will improve Microsoft Surface Pro 4's touch stability especially for when it turns back on after hibernation. The device's brightness after hibernation will also be optimized. Furthermore, the Surface Pro 4's Surface Pen integration will also be further improved alongside its battery life.
Surface Book 2016 Update
Much like the Surface Pro 4, the Surface Book will also get updates for its Surface Pen pairing and battery life. The Surface Book pretty much shares similar updates with the Surface Pro 4. Furthermore, the update will also optimize the Surface Book's log file storage space management.

The Surface 3 LTE, on the other hand, will get two updates for devices running Windows 10 and both updates will improve the device's model stability. Windows 8.1 Surface 3 LTE will also get one of the said updates for the same purpose.
Microsoft Surface Devices News And Rumors
So far, Microsoft has not mentioned any new Surface devices that would be arriving soon. However, rumor has it that the company will be holding an event in late October to launch updated versions of the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. It was also said that a Surface Desktop will also be introduced.
It's worth noting that there have been leaked renders of a Surface keyboard that circulated a few days ago. Nevertheless, the only thing certain as of now is that Microsoft continues to cater to its Surface users through new updates.
