The hit series "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 has not aired its 8th episode on Oct. 9, as the series reportedly took a two-week break from broadcast. The said episode titled "Black Market" is set to televise on Oct. 16 instead.
Despite the show's absence on air, CBS released the synopsis for episodes 4 and 5 respectively that will keep fans sated over the short hiatus. In "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 4, Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith) will allegedly save the day.
To recall, Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) is still missing in the field as she remains in the Intensive Care Unit following the helicopter crash in the premiere episode. Granger (Miguel Ferrer) then brought Nell back and it turns out to be the right call.
According to reports, Nell will be officially back in episode 4 and is expected to be better than ever. In fact, Nell will help the team to take on a notorious triad assassin who poisoned a Homeland Security agent. Their investigation will lead them to a warehouse of counterfeit purses and stolen government money.
On the other hand, Kensi was not mentioned in the "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 4 synopsis. To recall, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) proposed to her while she is in a medically-induced coma. Her condition was caused by the tragic helicopter crash in episode 1.
Meanwhile, "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 5 is titled "Ghost Gun." Bar Paly, who plays the role of Anna Kolcheck, is expected to return in the said episode. Anna will reportedly build a special connection with G. Allen. With this, speculations claim that Season 8 will showcase a possible love story between the two.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 4 airs on Sunday, Oct. 16 while Episode 5 follows on Oct. 23.
