Gone are the days when Dallas Cowboys used to be a big joke to the whole NFL community. Experts predicted them to win at least one game this year and so far, they've won four.
Dallas Cowboys might have more haters than fans. One of the storied franchise in NFL history is also one of the most hated team to ever play an NFL game. Why the hate on Cowboys? A lot of their bashers are not really directed to the Cowboys players but on its owner Jerry Jones.
Jerry Jones is a great businessman but an awful owner on some degree. This was attested by none other than ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. The outspoken host of ESPN First Take shows no sign of respect toward Jerry Jones. He even predicted that Cowboys will only win one game this year. But tides have changed as the cowboys are stamping against their opponents.
With the emergence of their rising stars QB Rookie Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, they are on a furious ride this season. Although they are considered Rookies, they are not afraid to show up and wage wage against battle tested NFL players.
Dak Prescott rookie season can be sum up to one word which is amazing. Although they have only played five games, the rookie QB showed finesse, poised and brilliance throughout each game. And by the way, did you know that he committed his first turnover last game against the Bengals? That's five games span with only one turnover.
And there's rookie RB Ezekiel "Zeke" Elliot. The product of Ohio State showed why he is one of the toughest and fastest running back on the league. Zeke is playing like a veteran with a body of a young man. Thanks to these two rookies, the cowboys are on a great run and expected to be better once Tony Romo and Dez Bryant returns.
