A new version of the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini is set to be unveiled next week, Oct. 17 in China. In a leaked invite in Mandarin sent to guests, the name Nubia is mentioned signifying a new ZTE smartphone under the brand is on the way.
In a report from PhoneArena, ZTE's Nubia is the third smartphone company set to unveil new products next week along with Huawei and Oppo. The teaser that ZTE published had no information as to what specific product it would be, however rumors point to a new iteration of the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini, bearing the "S" moniker into its name.
ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S New Features
According to Android Authority, the first ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini has an excellent camera as its main selling point. It packs a 16 megapixel camera using Sony's IMX298 sensor, phase detection capabilities, support for RAW images and what the company calls a 3D noise reduction technology that makes each capture solid in low light conditions.
This is why an upgrade in the camera department from single to dual set-up is reportedly good news to everyone impressed by the previous phone's photo capabilities. Judging from the rumors, consumers should be excited as to what the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S can bring to the table. Other than an update on the camera though, no other details regarding the upgrade is available.
How Will ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S Against Competitors?
Even though the Nubia Z11 Mini S is to going compete against other Chinese OEM' huge announcements next week, specifically Huawei's Honor 6X and Oppo's R9s, the ZTE phone should be able to find its audience among fans of midrange phones with capable cameras. While the update is a little too close from the original phone's release, this new version is expected to gain new customers with its promise of a good performing camera.
