Battlefield 1 Weekly Medal System Details Revealed

Since the day that it was announced, Battlefield 1 is considered as one of the most anticipated games of the year and players will experience the shooter game on a World War 1 setting in just a couple of weeks. Currently, Battlefield 1 had just released a new Medal System which will make players complete five different types of medals each with various task every week.

According to Game Rant, the Medal System is one of the game's biggest changes. As we remembered, the previous medal system let the players work to complete as many as they want. However, with the new revamp system, players will now be completing a handful of medal each week coming with a required criteria in order to unlock them. It was explained that players will be given a whole week to complete each task and will have a rotation next week on a weekly reset.

Based on the VG247, there are some new medals that will require players to hone their skills in a certain field or class. For example, the medal called "Order of Hippocrates" will require players to complete several tasks of a Medic class like healing your teammates for a required number of times, killing enemies using a Medic weapon and more.

There are also available medals dedicated to some players that have a wide range of skills. The "Legion of Glory" medal, for example, requires players to complete the tasks from multiple classes by doing some resupplies, repairs and heals. Additionally, completing these tasks have to be in the same order that it was given. That means players should prioritize a certain play style per week in order to get their desired medals especially when your playtime is limited.

Battlefield has 34 medals in total while each medals will grant players an XP bonus during completion. Each medals can be earned by a maximum of 100 times. Thankfully, if a player exceeds the limit, an additional XP bonus will still be given.

Battlefield 1 will be available on October 21 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
