'Tokyo Ghoul' Spoilers, News And Update: Six New Short Stories To Be Released; Fan-Favorite Characters To Be Included

Six new short stories have been released from the "Tokyo Ghoul" manga series and it will include fans' favorite characters like Yoshimura. Viz Media, LLC will release the short stories entitled "Tokyo Ghoul: Days" which is the first set of the story inspired by the manga hit of the same name by Sui Ishida.

The six short story manga will be released in print on October 18 and will retail at $12.99 U.S. / $17.99 CAN. It will also be available in digital format for $8.99 via VIZManga.com or its app. International market can also get a digital copy through iBooks, Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and GooglePlay stores. According to reports, more stories is scheduled to be released every quarter of the year.

The spin-off series of "Tokyo Ghoul" manga are reported to explore each main character's background and dark secrets as revealed by editor Nick Mamatas. One of the first stories to be published will feature Yoshimura and the strange clientele Café Anteiku will have. Anteiku is said to be watching a mysterious person who allegedly brings darkness to the hunter and the hunted. Aside from the manga, Viz Media will also release new stories for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation," "Vampire Knight: Memories," and more.

The creator of "Tokyo Ghoul", Sui Ishida, won several awards for the manga, including its one-shots. Last 2010, he won Young Jump 113th Grand Prix Award. The manga was first published in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2011 and in 2014 it got its first anime adaptation.
