"Limitless" Cancellation Confirmed Yet Fans Have Not Given Up Hope On Its Renewal
"Limitless" Season 2 was confirmed to not see the light of day after CBS canceled the series just after one installment. Showrunner Craig Sweeney has confirmed this over and over again since some fans have still petitioned that it may be picked up for the second season. Even though he tried to sell the series to numerous networks already, so far none has decided to pick it up.
However, Netflix picked up the first season of "Limitless," and the fans were hoping that they would renew it for season two. The series garnered even more fans who binge-watched the series on the network, but it still wasn't renewed. The fans have started to lose hope, but then again they weren't the only ones who worked their way to a second season.
Bradley Cooper Pitches "Limitless" To FX; Latter Interested In Picking Up The Series?
Actor Bradley Cooper reportedly hasn't given up on the series to be picked up for the second season. Thus, fans have started to regain hope once more knowing that the actor himself has acted upon its renewal. Cooper has tried to sell the series to FX, the same cable network to the successful "American Horror Story." He is reportedly confident with the results of his actions, and the network is reportedly interested in picking up "Limitless" for season two.
There have been speculations that due to his other commitments and projects, Cooper wouldn't be able to focus on "Limitless" as much as he did before. Hence, he is doing everything that he could to find a trustworthy network that will take care of the series just as much as he did. The series has earned great potential to be a successful series and Cooper along with its avid fans believe in that strongly.
The confirmation of "Limitless" being picked up for season two is yet to be announced yet fans remained hopeful and positive of the results.
