‘Prison Break’ 2016 Reboot Spoilers and Updates: Will It Get Extended For Another Series?

Wentworth Miller, one of the lead stars of "Prison Break" 2016 Reboot, has recently suggested that the show will have more than nine episodes. He indicated that the producers may go for another series altogether. The reboot is set to launch in late 2016 or early 2017. But a lot depends on how the reboot is received by the TV viewers and its followers.

Will There Really Be Additional Episodes?

The series have gained a huge following in 2005 and again in 2009. Its original cast, including Miller, will return to reprise their roles. Many fans believe that the show's revival will only be for a limited time. However, the producers have not yet confirmed if there will be more episodes that will be added.

"The reboot is nine new episodes airing in spring 2017, and then depending on how it's received, and who's available, there could be another conversation about another bite of the apple. We'll see," said Miller in an interview with Digital Spy.

What Is In The Mind Of Fox?

The producers of the show and Fox network were keen in stressing that "Prison Break" 2016 Reboot will be on a limited run. This seems to indicate that there is no chance that the series will be extended beyond what was already confirmed. The plan was for the show to only have nine episodes.

In this context, Miller was not ready with the details regarding "Prison Break" 2016 Reboot. "I can tell you. it's seven years later, and you can expect a lot more of the same things that you loved the first time around," he said. "And it will also be quite different as the characters have changed, so my character in particular is no longer just a hero - he's a few other things as well. I think the fans will get a kick out of it," he added. Fans just have to watch and wait what will happen.
