"Outlander" Season 3 is coming back on the small screen next year and as fans wait for the series, reports and fan speculations on Jaime (Sam Heughan) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) reunion are popping up. New casts members are also added to the much-awaited series.
Speculations are high that Claire will go back in time to meet with Jaime, according to what happened in Diana Gabaldon's book, "Voyager," and their reunion will be a passionate one. It will explore the aftermath of the Jacobite uprising as Claire returns to the past meet with the Jaime, and the two will embark on a journey to Jamaica together.
However, according to a report, "Outlander Season 3" will explore a storyline different from the one provided in author Gabaldon's books. Fans will have to wait how this will affect Jaime and Claire's character as well as their anticipated reunion.
"Outlander" Season 3 will pick up from the events of last season. Claire is reunited with her husband, Frank. Claire, however, is pregnant with Jaime's child and will later learn that Jaime did not die in the Battle of Culloden.
New faces will also be seen in the upcoming "Outlander" Season 3. Cesar Domboy will portray the adult counterpart of Fergus, a pickpocket who is trying to change and who regards Jaime as his father. It was described that he will be looking for his true love, like how Claire is to Jaime.
Meanwhile, Lauren Lyle will play the grown-up Marsali, Laoghaire's daughter, who is described as the opposite of Fergus' personality. She rebellious, high-spirited, and is someone who will do everything to get what she wants; however, she is also reported to be a closet romantic.
On the other hand, Sam Heughan and Catriona Balfe continue to make the headlines not just because of their respective characters in "Outlander" Season 3 but also of their on and off-screen chemistry. Rumors about the two dating have already been circulating for quite some time.
