J. K. Rowling Plans Five “Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them” Movies; Final Trailer Released Hinting Dumbledore’s Return

J. K. Rowling has decided to make not just one but five “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” movies out of the popular Harry Potter book and a new trailer of the upcoming movie has just been released.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” was introduced in the first novel, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” as a textbook for one of Harry Potter’s class. J. K. Rowling then published a new book titled “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” in 2001 under the pseudonym, Newt Scamander, hence the name of the main lead character in the said movie.

The new movie is set to release worldwide on Nov. 18, 2016. With the approaching release date, J. K. Rowling just announced that there will be five “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” movies and further stated that this was the plan all along. J. K. Rowling is debuting as a screenwriter for this movie, which is a prequel to the Harry Potter books as it is set 70 years before Harry Potter’s story began.

The hype for the new movie has already got fans excited but nobody expected to get five “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” movies. According to NewsWeek, J. K. Rowling said, “We always knew it was going to be more than one movie, and we said a trilogy as a placeholder. But I’ve done the plotting properly and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be five movies.”

In lieu with that, a new and final trailer has been released to add up to the excitement. And with that and the announcement of five installments of the said movie, J. K. Rowling has mentioned that there was a lot of talk about Dumbledore and Grindelwald. No details were released as to who will play Dumbledore’s role but according to BBC News, David Yates said, “We can’t tell you, too, because we’d have to kill you all, but we do mention Dumbledore and he features in a wonderful scene between Collin (Farell) and Eddie (Redmayne).”

“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” is an upcoming British-American film dwelling on fantasy action genres. Written by J. K. Rowling herself and directed by David Yates, the movie stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson, Dan Fogler, Allison Sudol, and Collin Farrell. It is uncertain if the same characters or even at least Eddie Redmayne will star in all five “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” movies.
