Pokemon GO Update: Pokeball Prices Must Be Lowered

Pokemon GO is probably the most famous mobile game of this generation, and most fans will certainly agree to that. However, it's also safe to say that it needs a lot of improvement. And definitely, one area that needs a little revamp is the price of Pokeballs. Because seriously, it can sometimes break one's bank in an instant.

First and foremost, it's a very unlikely move from Niantic if they decide to the lower the Pokemon GO PokeCoins for the aforementioned item. Why? Well, it's simply for the mere fact that it's where they get most of their revenues. So if they decide to do so, it could affect their sales as a whole.

Nevertheless, it's probably about time that the studio considers it for the sake of the entire Pokemon GO community. Think about spending 100 coins for a total of 20 Pokeballs in hopes to capture the likes of Rattata (which could actually make a player spend 20 Pokeballs just to catch it). And take note: for that figure, players have to spend at least 100 PokeCoins.

For instance, Pokemon GO players aren't lucky enough to catch the aforesaid creature in around 5 or more Pokeballs. Chances are, they'll be paying around $1 per 2 or 3 Pokemon they intend to acquire. Obviously, this is very ridiculous considering the fact that the augmented reality game is a free to play title.

This would even be a hard one to chew for new Pokemon GO trainers. This is for the fact that they have to compete with various gyms and collect as many PokeCoins as they can. Otherwise, it would be very impossible for them to catch up in terms of experience points.

There are lots of options Niantic can choose to go with in Pokemon GO. The company can perhaps ask $1 for 50 Pokeballs or 10 Pokecoins for 10 of these items (100 coins is synonymous to $1). This can certainly be a huge lift for the players. After all, without these Pokeballs, there's nothing to do there. (Check this guide on how to obtain unlimited-like Pokeballs).

What are your thoughts on Pokemon GO getting a lower Pokecoin price in Pokeballs? Do you think the figures mentioned above are reasonable enough for Niantic to consider? What other options can you suggest to the studio? Let us know what you think at the comment section below!
