Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Update: Kill Confirmed Mode Added Alongside A New Map

Infinity Ward has recently released an update for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare online multiplayer beta. The update includes the addition of Kill Confirmed Mode and the new map called Precinct. It was a bit unfortunate for the fans when the multiplayer beta was plagued with severe matchmaking issues. However, Infinity Ward fixed majority of those problems and started rolling out new content for the beta users to test out.

According to Game Rant, the developer added a game mode and fourth map to the beta version. Along with the recent update, players were able to experience Team Deathmatch, Domination and the new Defender Mode. Now, a new game mode is set to make a debut to the game. The Kill Confirmed mode is a kind of match type where players will not earn points for killing unless they have first collected the dogtags from their fallen enemies. It is also possible to deny the points from the other team by collecting the dogtags from dead comrades. The Kill Confirmed mode is now playable in the Infinite Warfare beta across all three previously released maps along with new map Precinct.

On the other hand, the new Precinct is a medium-sized map set in Japan and will join the other three already released maps in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta Frontier, Frost and Throwback. Precinct is reported to support all various playstyles of the game. However, as to date, beta testers can only try out three of the Combat Rigs at the time. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta will be expected to continue until Oct. 24. So, there will be a higher possibility of adding more Combat Rigs to the mix, as well as game modes and maps.

In addition, it is still unclear if Xbox One owners will experience similar match types and modes in their own version of the multiplayer beta. The current beta is timed-PS4 exclusive which means it will not be available to Xbox One until this coming weekend.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be out on Nov. 24 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
