When Jennifer Lopez ditched Casper Smart in late August, the gossip was a total yawn. Everybody knew that Casper was and is still shady, and the only real secret was "why did Jennifer stick with Casper for so many years?" The unanimity around the breakups was sort of "well, at least she didn't marry this one," which is a major plus.
Having said that, there was some show around the split, like queries about what exactly was the breaking point, and if Casper was trying to win her back by asserting squatter's rights or whatever. Well, now that we're about two months removed from the breakup, we're finally finding out what really happened: Casper cheated on her.

"She kicked him out because he cheated on her and he got caught," says the source. "It happened two years ago, and he promised he would never do it again and once he did, she was done."
Recently, the source says "he's been doing everything he can to get back together, working on himself and posting on his Instagram saying that 'Life is Good' and showing off his new leg tattoo that says 'You must embrace the darkness to see the light.'" While there were reports back in August that they broke up after Smart, 29, failed to attend a party in the Hamptons with Lopez, 47, the source says that is not the case.
"The truth is, he was cheating and now that it's over he's been begging to come back," the source says. "He says he's changed and that he is a new man but recently, on a video shoot for Wisin in Mexico, he was posting videos with bikini-clad dancers and not acting like a guy trying to remedy old habits. He was kicked to the curb not because he did not attend a party with J. Lo but because he was caught having parties of his own," says the source. "No one has time for that, especially J. Lo."
A rep for Smart confirmed that the dancer served as a creative director for a new music video for Wisin that was shot in Mexico this past week but added that everything was "strictly work, nothing personal."
But that report fared to be erroneous, in accordance to People source, who said it was his roving eye that finally put the four-year affinity on ice.
The two went civic with their romance in July 2012, but gossips of them dating started the late year.
Meanwhile, Lopez doesn't emerge to be pining for her dishonest ex. She's busy filming the TV show "Shades of Blue," has a new hit single, "Ain't Your Mamma" and just reported that she's working on new music with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
