The Elder Scrolls 6 sure is not coming within the next three years. Apparently, Bethesda is focusing on Skyrim Remastered and its features. Many gamers are anticipating what new experiences it can bring.
What Is New With Skyrim Remastered?
Skyrim Remastered has gotten an upgrade in the creation kit for making mods. According to Bethesda's Marketing Vice President Pete Hines, the kit is a new one. Specs requirements will be announced soon.
Bethesda has also given more information regarding mods. The studio said that the Skyrim Remastered creation kit will not permit outside resources on the PlayStation 4. Instead, players can only use what is included.
He delved more on the restrictions of the PlayStation 4 mods, saying "It's very simple. If it fits in a plugin file (esp), it's fine. If it requires a .bsa file, it's introducing an asset and isn't."
Skyrim Remastered And Fallout 4 Mods Explained
A question was asked if Skyrim's assets will be available on Fallout 4 and vice versa and he said that the company never allowed one aspect to be used on a different game, according to Express.
With the Fallout 4 mods finally being available to PS4 users, there are many questions that gamers have. The recently conduction Q&A, thankfully, answered some of them. According to Hines, players will be able to create cheat mods for the dystopian game.
"I don't see why not," he said when asked if players will be able to cheat. "Drop crates in the world packed with whatever you want. Drop items all over the place. Etc." The Bethesda VP also confirmed that to use DLC assets, players will need to buy the particular update of Fallout 4 on the particular console.
Meanwhile, Skyrim Remastered is set to launch on Oct. 28 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
