Red Dead Redemption 2 Confirmed For Fall 2017
Rockstar's tweet, which showed a new image, confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is dropping in fall 2017. This means that fans only have to wait for about a year for the sequel they have all been wishing for. The tweet also mentioned a trailer that fans can expect on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. EST.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Is A Prequel?
According to Kotaku, the latest image released seem to confirm that the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 is set before the events of the first title. However, there is no concrete evidence yet except for the mysterious image and some rumors on the internet. Nevertheless, it can be expected that Red Dead Redemption 2 will provide a new multiplayer experience.
"Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland," the official website reads. "The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."
This would seem to explain the seven characters in the teasers. As to what the new experience it will bring to the multiplayer mode, it remains to be seen.
Fans can watch out for the upcoming trailer for more information regarding the game. Rockstar has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it is unknown if it is coming to PC as well. Although it can be remembered that the original title was not launched on the platform.
