Surface Phone Rumors: Microsoft To Unveil Device October 26, To Come With Perfected Continuum?

Rumors about Microsoft's supposed Surface Phone are spreading like wildfire. Though there has been no confirmation or denial of the long awaited product's existence from the Redmond-based tech company, everyone seems to be hopeful and expectant of an official statement to be made about it this month, with speculations stating that the device will feature the perfected version of Microsoft's Continuum mode.

Since Microsoft has sent invites for their upcoming event this October 26 in New York, speculations about the release of a new Surface All-in-One PC are rising. Alongside this is the possibility of the much-anticipated revelation of the new Windows Surface Phone. An exciting feature that has everyone hyped up is the rumored feature to be sported by this model - the Continuum mode.

As stated on the Windows website, "Continuum turns your phone into a big-screen projector and a big-time productivity tool. Use a dock or adapter to connect to a TV or monitor, then use your apps and see your content on a larger screen." Thus, the capability of the Surface Phone to essentially become a mini desktop computer might prove to be its killer productivity feature.

Technically speaking, this feature will allow the Microsoft Surface Phone to work as a PC and a projector with a little help of additional hardware. The wonder and convenience of having access to all the contents of any Windows smartphone and viewing it on a Windows 10 PC without needing a dock or an adapter is a breakthrough as well.

With Continuum, meetings, presentations and casual viewing won't be such a hassle anymore because of this great design's ease of access. Without question, the Windows Surface Phone will definitely be another one of Microsoft's iconic flagships in the trade. But at this point, everyone can just be hopeful since an official release has yet to be made.
