CBS will make a TV adaptation of Candy Crush from Lionsgate TV. The hourlong game or series will feature two competitive players who are competing against a huge interactive boards to defeat the obstacles and be crowned as Candy Crush champion.
The game will be spearheaded by notable names in TV such as Reality TV vet Matt Kunitz created the TV format and exec produces for Lionsgate, CBS Television Studios, Pulse Creative and "Candy Crush" distributor King and Peter Levin, Lionsgate's head of interactive and games
The Candy Crush Saga or Franchise generated an outstanding average of 18 billion game round in September, according to CBS. That is almost the number of 10 other mobile games added together. That is why CBS took its chances and finalized a deal with them.
