The First Episode Made Kensi Comatose

The first episode of "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 tackled the reason why Kensi is no longer part of the team. He was pinned down when the helicopter he is riding went down. He was immediately flown back to the United States.

LL Cool J made some ominous hints about the possibility of the death of one of the show's main characters. "Somebody's got to die," said LL Cool J. He plays the character of Sam Hanna, a member of the NCIS team. But he didn't stop dropping hints. "Somebody's got to go, you know?" he continued. "Changes you need to watch," he added.
