Wolfenstein: The New Order Also Gets A Sequel Tease Via An Image Just Like Red Dead Redemption 2

A sequel (or prequel - not sure yet) to Wolfenstein: The New Order has been 'accidentally' shown at Bethesda's E3 2016 lineup where a title called The New Colossus was listed right after The Old Blood - which is an expansion for the game. The New Order was released in 2014 which makes today a good window for a next installment of Wofenstein. Could The New Colossus be a sequel for Wolfenstein: The New Order?

If you analyze the titles, the both contain 'The New' and then followed by their unique third word. With that said it is a big possibility that a sequel is coming. But could that DOS file shown at the recent E3 be an accident or did someone show it intentionally? We'll never know, and we won't bother much either as Brian Bloom has said something that might confirm the sequel rumor.

Twinfinite reports that Bloom, who voiced The New Order's main protagonist B.J. Balzkowicz had an interview with TwoLeftSticks said that the particular DOS file that showed up on screen had a lineup of old and NEW games. He added that some of them have been released and one still isn't. If you analyze that correctly the yellow highlight on the image below would be the only title that wasn't released and beside it is a date which says XX-XX-XX. Can you even put that value on a date field at DOS? Ultimately he gives away a huge hint: "...Perhaps we're working on that as we speak."

The first game's success plus the fact that the developers would love to make a sequel seals the deal. A new Wolfenstein game is definitely coming (fingers crossed) and all we have to do is, well, wait for it to be officially announced. Here's the trailer from the original Wolfenstein: The New Order, just to keep you busy for now. Thoughts, suggestions, or any comments at all are welcome via the comment section below. Hit us up!
