"Vikings" Season 4 spoilers are coming out indicating that this upcoming season will be full of surprising twists and turns. For instance, Ragnar fought Rollo in a battle and was defeated. The only thing he could do after being defeated is to retreat. He promptly disappeared in Kattegat.
The King Has Suddenly Returned
For years, the king was nowhere to be seen in Kattegat simply because he was hiding somewhere no one knows. However, at the end of the final episode of season 3, Ragnar appeared to be coming back. This makes the story a bit more interesting.
What Does The King Want Now?
When Ragnar came back, he summoned his sons and challenged them to kill him in order for one of them to replace him as king. Did his sons take up the challenge? If they did, who among them took the life of their father?
Season 4 Gives A Clear Answer
A number of "Vikings" Season 4 spoilers suggested that Ragnar's son did not take up his challenge. Therefore, he should still be alive. The spoilers hinted that Ragnar will now be focusing his mind on settling his score with the King of Wessex, King Ecbert.
But some leaks and spoilers also indicated that it does not mean that Ragnar will be alive the whole of "Vikings" Season 4. There was a hint that this will be the last time that the king will go to England because he was scheduled to die in this current season.
What Does Fimmel Think About His Character?
Ragnar, according to actor Travis Fimmel who plays the part, is done with being king. "I feel like it always feels like he's let down or he doesn't have the support of the people anymore," said Fimmel. "He doesn't know who to trust,' he added. "Vikings" Season 4 part 2 will be aired on Nov. 30, 2016.
