Warner Bros. and Virtuous Games finally launched a new video trailer for the upcoming Batman: Return to Arkham after a slight delay. The new video footage showcased a split screen graphics comparison of the remastered version from the original game.
Batman: Return to Arkham is a collection of the best Batman video games made. Based on the previous reports, the idea of making a remastered version for the first two Arkham games and packaged together was well received. As time went by, more leaks were shown to the public through launching the first comparison video.
However, according to the reports from Game Rant, the graphics comparison trailer did not generate much hype the way Warner Bros. had expected. Instead it drew rage to some fans who did not envision the remastered version as an improvement.
The report said that most fans preferred the older graphics for its strong and darker style which blended perfectly to the mood of the series. Due to this huge backlash, the studio has decided to delay the release of the collection and canceled its originally planned July 26, 2016 release date.
Both Warner Bros. and Virtuous Games dedicated most of their time working on the games which seems to be paying off. The redo Batman: Return to Arkham game looks so much better compared to the version released months ago and the latest video trailer was a proof. It is now a completely developed game for the current gen consoles instead of the previous simple application of makeup and enhanced lighting.
Batman: Return to Arkham does not offer much more than an attractive port. In addition, it also lacks any significant extras. However, it is still great to have two of the outstanding games packaged together dedicated for the current-gen consoles.
Batman: Return to Arkham is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
