Final Fantasy 15 Demo Review: PS4, PS Vita Menus, Tutorials, Graphics Reworked

Final Fantasy 15 is believed to have gone through several transformations beginning from the spin-off Fantasy Versus 13. Several changes since the PAX West demo are reworked menus, polished graphics and the inclusion of tutorials. The game is said to have a solid plot and impressive opening chapters.

The storyline of Final Fantasy 15 focuses on the protagonist Prince Noctis who was sent off by King Regis to marry Lunafreya of Tenebrae. The marriage is thought of as a political one. Later in the game, the player, playing as Prince Noctis will find out that the homeland has been invaded by the kingdom of Nifelheim and that King Regis has been slain as well as Lunafreya.

Noctis and his allies in Final Fantasy 15 will acquire powerful weapons and magic hidden in lost tombs all the while trying not to get captured by the Nifelheim empire. It seems that Noctis has lost control of the kingdom due to Nifelheim's target of a ring and The Six. The storyline is reportedly connected to the film Kingsglaive and the anime series Brotherhood that allegedly explains the political ties between the two warring nations.

Moreover, Final Fantasy 15 reportedly boasts impressive set-pieces in the opening chapters. There will be labyrinthine series of ice caverns in-game found behind a waterfall towards a hidden tomb. The game features a volcanic mountain, a skyscraper-sized Titan in an explosive battle and the infiltration of the Nifelheim fortress. Note that there will be new characters too and attacking from the rear is said to cause more damage.

Meanwhile, Final Fantasy 15 prologues with the statement "A Final Fantasy for Fans and First-Timers. The game is said to be reminiscent of the first five chapters, all while brimming with a plethora of new mechanics and details. Final Fantasy 15 allegedly attempts to pull in both new and veteran "FFXV" players into the distinct open world.

Final Fantasy XV is said to be full of activities to do alongside the main quest such as hunting contracts to eradicate local monsters in turn for money or seeking out hidden treasures. The frontier is also open for exploration as well as loads of side quests. These additional quests are believed to give more insight to the open world.
