Even before Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch, previously known as NX, the Chinese electronics company Aikun has already released Morphus X300. Launched during the Global Sources Electronics Show in Hong Kong in 2015, it will be about two years old when the Nintendo console has been finally launched.
Nintendo Switch Looks Strangely Familiar To Aikun's Morphus X300
Morphus X300 is a handheld device from Aikun that can be compared with Nintendo's Switch. The Shenzhen-based company has successfully introduced its product last year, according to Kotaku.
Morphus X300 is not entirely a gaming console like Nintendo Switch but with the design of the former with its controllers will remind everyone of the latter. Aikun's handheld device also consists of a screen with detachable controllers. However, it does not have a dock that would connect it to TV.
According to Tech Radar, Morphus X300 has two wireless controllers that can be attached on the sides of the tablet, a built-in high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) port that will be able to support playing games on televisions.
Which Is Better Between Morphus X300 And Nintendo Switch
Aikun's Morphus X300 has been circulating on the internet for quite some time. The price of the gaming tablet is around $300. Though the Chinese company was not successful in creating a gaming console the same as Nintendo Switch, it is certainly an alternative for the latter.
The main difference between the Nintendo Switch and Morphus X300 is that the Japanese console offers both the experience of a home console and a handheld gaming device. It is certainly made to play in the same sandbox as the big players in the industry, Sony's PlayStation and Microsoft's Xbox.
Nintendo Switch has just been introduced in a trailer on Thursday, confirming that it acts as both a home and handheld console. The trailer looks promising, but the company still has a lot of information to reveal in the coming months.
