Millie Bobby Brown has partly confirmed her comeback on Netflix's smash hit sci-fi series "Stranger Things" season 2 as Eleven. While the first season was a complete cliffhanger, there are already hints as to how Eleven will make her returning scene.
Millie Bobby Brown Returns As Eleven
"Stranger Things" creators the Duffer Brothers have been keeping details under wraps about the upcoming season. However, Brown recently posted a photo on her Instagram account with David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper, suggesting confirmation of Eleven's comeback on the show.
"Shhhhh @dkharbour don't say a word! #s02 #strangerthings @netflix @strangerthingstv," Brown captioned her photo. An hour later, Harbour posted a photo of Brown on his Instagram account with a caption that read, "@milliebobby_brown won't let me talk season2." Both Brown and Harbour attended a panel for "Stranger Things" at Phoenix Comic-Con Fan Fest on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Eleven's Comeback Plot
Fans may recall that "Stranger Things" finale episode had Eleven, Demogorgon, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) in the closing scene. After Eleven woke up and unleashed her power against Demogorgon, the demonic monster went up to ashes along with Eleven herself. That scene left many viewers questioning whether or not Eleven is dead, or if she is coming back.
A report from Independent speculated that Eleven's comeback scene might somewhere be in The Secret Cabin or The Palace. Season 1 also shut off leaving questions as to why Chief Hopper was leaving behind Eggos. Will this be linked to Eleven's return? With that said, the show creatives have remained tight-lipped about any concrete details, aside from the confirmed actors to reappear on the show as well the newcomers.
Returning Actors, Newcomers
Recently, Wolfhard, Winona Ryder and Matarazzo have been confirmed to reprise their roles on the show. Noah Schnapp and Joe Keery, meanwhile, will show as mainstays. Newcomers confirmed to join cast include Sadie Sink (American Oddysey, 2015) and Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers, 2017). Sink and Montgomery will play step-siblings Max and Billy, respectively.
"Stranger Things" season 2 is expected to be back on Netflix in 2017.
