As of today, there are other reports revealing another type of bug that confuses Pokemon Go players.
According to Otakukart, many players reported that the Pokemon Go icon went missing after the update. Another report mentions that whenever they tried to click on the Pokemon, the trainer would be throwing PokeBalls at giant flying light orbs instead of a Pokemon appearing on the screen. Based on the report, several trainers had also reported that their avatar loses its entire color and turns into a blackened shadow.
A tweet from Pokemon Go Servers mentioned about the reported bug. Apparently, a trainer responded to the tweet saying that the app freezes whenever he catches a Weedle. He also added that whenever he lauches the Pokemon Go app, his podcast volume is now lowered which makes the game sound terrible. Thankfully, some players discovered a way to fix these bugs. However, there is no guarantee that the trick will work completely.
Based on the source, uninstalling and re-installing the app or restarting your phone would erase all the bugs and glitches of the game. Though it is not a 100 percent guarantee, it is worth a shot in order to get the app working normally again.
With these recently huge number of complaints Pokemon Go received, surely, Niantic has heard all of it and is doing its best to de-bug the latest Pokemon Go update. Meanwhile, the first-ever Pokemon GO Halloween Event is now live. Catch your favorite ghost type Pokemon in the game.
