"The Walking Dead" alum Alicia Witt will be joining the cast of "Supernatural" season 12, and the actress made the announcement herself via her Twitter account. She posted a video of her explaining that she could not make it to an event in Atlanta due to filming for her role in "Supernatural." The actress also explained her role in the series, and it is going to be an amazing role, as she has said.

Witt will be playing the role of Lily Sunder, an old foe to angel Castiel, explaining the "relationship" that she has with the latter as she has said in her announcement. However, her specific effect on coming back to the life of Castiel is bound to be known as the season progresses, and al that the actress has revealed is that she will get to do "Some pretty cool things" with her role. As for Castiel, she will definitely be having her moments this season, especially ones with her partner Crowley.

The Winchester Brothers' Mother To Reunite With Them In Upcoming Episode Of "Supernatural" Season 12

The upcoming third episode of "Supernatural" season 12 will also feature the Winchesters reuniting as they solve the mystery of the crying baby that caused a death in an abandoned house. The upcoming episode will also feature the brothers' mother who will be joining them as she returns from the afterlife. However, their reunion might not be as pleasant as first since in Mary will be taken by the evil force and will be used against her sons. This will then ignite the brothers' need to save Mary before it does any more damage to their family.
