Seattle Seahawks quarterback player Russell Wilson with his wife, R&B singer Ciara, in announcing that the couple are expecting their first baby together. What a happy couple.
"The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay," the NFL pro, 27, posted on Instagram, shortly after Grammy Award-winner Ciara event, who at that time celebrating her 31st birthday Tuesday, posted the news on social media.
Apparently connected to the tweet Wednesday, Wilson wrote, "#BVD 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...,' Jeremiah 1:5 NIV," using the hashtag for "Bible verse of the day" and quoting from the New International Version. He cut short the full quotation, which continues, "I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Ciara on Tuesday uploaded a black-and-white photo of Wilson seated, cradling a reclining Ciara's belly as she smiles. "On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family," she wrote, "and I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give...," followed by emoji including a baby and a baby bottle. Wilson post the same photo on his own Instagram account.
