‘Star Wars’ Episode 8 Spoilers, News And Updates: Is Rey The Daughter of Luke or Obi-Wan? Daisy Ridley Has Something To Reveal?

The upcoming space saga "Star War" episode 8 is definitely hitting the theaters in December 2017. Avid fans of one of the most successful box-office franchises of all time can no longer contain themselves. They are theorizing and debating as to who the probable parents of Rey really are.

Daisy Ridley Might Have Something To Reveal

Daisy Ridley who plays Rey in the space saga has revealed something about the roots of her character. Some have been asking: could Jyn Erso be her mother? Ridley was recently asked regarding her relationship with Erso. Erso is a major character in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," another stand-alone film that is taken from the original movie franchise and slated for release in December 2016.

Daisy said that Erso was there during the reign of Darth Vader. So probably Erso is old enough to be Rey's grandmother. But Daisy's character is shown wearing Kenobi-inspired attire and knows certain Jedi mind tricks. Some fans believe that she might be the daughter of Obi-Wan. But Daisy's lips are tied. She's not allowed to reveal more, and says, fans will only have one more year to wait for the reveal.

What about Luke Skywalker? At the end of "Star War" episode 7, Rey finally found the secret lair of the last Jedi. He could also be a possible relative of Rey. Luke seems to have all the character traits that could father Rey. Is he the real one?

A New Look For Executioner Stormtroopers In Episode 8

Rumors are also spreading that the fans of the movie franchise may see a new look for the Stormtroopers. The previous episodes of "Star Wars" showed that there are not too many distinct changes in the Stormtrooper design. But it seems that "Star War" episode 8 will see a new Executioner Stormtrooper design that will look more menacing than the previous ones.
