Final Fantasy XV delivers more hype for its much-awaited November release as Square Enix announced during their presentation at Paris Games Week that the game has officially reached gold status. They also revealed their plans to release DLC packages for the game that will be launched within the season pass which costs $24.99.
Final Fantasy XV Season Pass Episodes
According to the official press release by Square Enix as posted by DualSHOCKERS, Square Enix revealed three episodes that will be included in the season pass of Final Fantasy XV.
"The main focus of the season pass is three original episodes that take place during the events of FINAL FANTASY XV. Each episode allows players to take control of one of Noctis' comrades in all-new adventures that offer unique play styles tailored to each character." Square Enix said.
The first season pass character episode was introduced as Episode Gladiolus, followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto. These episodes enable players to unlock unseen areas filled with monsters and obtain new weapons which can be used for the main game. The new episodes will become available to purchase individually.
Comrades - Final Fantasy XV Online Co-Op DLC
Also included in the season pass is an expansion pack titled Comrades. It will be the next release for the game following the three season pass episodes. The DLC introduces online cooperative gameplay exclusive for four players to utilize Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto as a team in new battles, according to the press release.
"This additional content and character episodes are managed by Haruyoshi Sawatari (Producer, Business Division 2) and overseen by FINAL FANTASY XV Director Hajime Tabata with development led by core members of the FINAL FANTASY XV team." The final part of the press release says.
Final Fantasy XV New CG Teaser Titled "Omen"
Square Enix just recently leaked another teaser video on Twitter after currently dropping one. The CG trailer, titled "Omen," features Noctis and other characters such as Luna, King Caelum and a mysterious dog in a cataclysmic sequence of events.
The Twitter post captions: "Noctis' father, King Regis, receives an omen of a catastrophic future that must be avoided. Check out the CG #FFXV trailer "Omen"#OmenFFXV." The short CG movie shows stunning scenery and intense fighting cinematography. As said by DontFeedTheGamers: "It paints a picture that is suspenseful, and concerning, with a finish that leaves more questions than answers."
DLC content and episode manager Haruyoshi Sawatari comments his excitement for the upcoming release of the game as he shared his encounters with fans of the game for worldwide promotion of Final Fantasy XV. Sawatari also expressed his sentiments about the hard work committed for the game as a gift for the fans. Final Fantasy XV will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29, 2016
