Wings Gaming Completes The ESL One Genting Direct Invites

Three invited teams for ESL One Genting is finally complete. The International 6 champion, Wings Gaming, filled in the last direct invite spot for the tournament. Along with Fnatic and Digital Chaos, Wings Gaming will battle once again for $100,000 first prize.

About ESL One Genting

After the success of ESL One Manila in the Philippines in April, the tournament series is now heading to Malaysia for ESL One Genting. The year 2017 will start with eight teams fighting against each other in hopes to prove their strength. With the prize pool at $250,000, ESL One Genting will take place on January 8 in Arena of Stars, Resort World Genting, Malaysia.

ESL already announced the three teams that received the direct invite - Fnatic, Digital Chaos, and Wings Gaming. Five other slots to complete the number of team participants of the said tournament will be filled by the winning teams during regional qualifiers. Thousands of Dota fans will gather and spectate in the said tournament. Packed with high-quality production, immense crowds, and professional broadcast talents, ESL One Genting will be one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments to be held when the year 2017 starts. The luxurious Resorts World Genting will host the tournament, which will surely add incredibility to this experience.

Three Teams That Received A Direct Invite For ESL One Genting

Fnatic. The first team to receive a direct invite for the tournament series is Fnatic. Hailing from Malaysia, the venue of the event, Fnatic's roster is composed of two Filipinos, two Malaysians, and one American nationality. They are one of the strongest team in Southeast Asia.

Digital Chaos. The International 6 first runner-up, Digital Chaos, also secured a spot in the main event. Although DC is based in America, its roster is composed of members from different countries. American team Digital Chaos is being lead by their Danish captain, Rasmus "MiSeRy" Filipsen.

Wings Gaming. ESL cannot resist inviting the strongest Dota team, Wings Gaming. WG is a Chinese team who became champions in The International 6, which is the biggest tournament in the history of eSports.
