"The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 3 is yet to air on Sunday, Nov. 6 but AMC already teased on what The Kingdom is by releasing the episode's synopsis. The upcoming episode titled "The Cell" was revealed to feature Rick Grimes and his group of survivors. The group is set to learn more about The Kingdom where they also get the chance to get a taste of how it really is to be a survivor amid the apocalypse and Negan's evil rules.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 has probably been the most scrutinized installment of the series. Fans have continuously been obsessing over dissecting every single leak that leads to intense speculations. Yet while fans keep on figuring out how the TV show will relate with the comic book version, AMC has shed some light on what the "TWD" fandom will discover in the third episode. The network has released its official synopsis of episode 3, "The Cell," via Spoiler TV where it shared how The Kingdom can give salvation to the survivors of the apocalypse.
While there are bases like Alexandria and Hilltop for survivors to camp in, The Kingdom is described to own everything that is needed to survive. From the basic needs to impressive facilities, The Kingdom is said to be the ultimate settlement. Rick and his group though will find out that everything they use for safety has a price. Unfortunately, AMC did not unveil further details about the said new community of survivors.
Several theories based on the comic book surmise that the TV series might take the same plotline as the source material in reference to the bout that will happen between the Saviors and the three teaming up communities (Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom). Ezekiel (self-proclaimed king of The Kingdom), as already debuted, is introduced on "TWD" episode 2 by the showrunner Scott Gimple exactly how the comic book did -- boisterous and flamboyant. The book also has it that the said character will take a major role in the battle that is about to happen. This led to the assumption that starting episode 3, the plotline might draw somewhere near the original story up to the part where the war happens.
While "The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 3 theories talk heavily about The Kingdom, a promo video released after the second episode aired on Oct. 30 featured fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon. Nothing much was revealed from the promo, but it teased Daryl like never seen before -- scared and fearful of Negan.
More things are expected to be revealed as "The Walking Dead" season 7 comes back with episode 3 on Sunday, Nov. 6.
