“Girl Meets World” has been facing endless cancellation issues as its fourth installment has not been getting an official renewal. While the showrunners and Disney remain silent on the issues that continue to bother the show and its cast, the press and fans have reached a variety of speculations.
Is Rowan Blanchard Really Happy To Exit ‘Girl Meets World?’
Rowan Blanchard was recently noted to be “excited” in ending her role as Riley Matthews. With “Girl Meets World” season 4 still uncertain, the young actress is presumed to be ready with her alternative plans should the series not pursue a new season.
Known as a book lover, she dreams to have her published book someday. Interestingly, the New York Times has classified Blanchard as a feminist advocate.
“I found myself not being able to put something in my diary without thinking, ‘Maybe if this is good enough, I’ll publish it,” Blanchard said.
Her fans expect that her book will be inspired by her experiences in the popular coming of age sitcom.
Disney Troubled With Behavior Issues Of ‘Girl Meets World’ Stars?
One of the many reasons believed to caused the dismissal of the show is the attitude problems of its actors that contributed to the drop in viewership ratings.
Reports dropped Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter’s names who are allegedly showing behavioral concerns that alarmed Disney, hence, causing the network to terminate the two teen stars to be axed from the show.
Neither one of them has responded yet in the issue thrown against them but a sentimental August Maturo (Auggie Matthews) was previously reported to express his sadness on the show’s impending cancellation. His tweet “Not ready for Goodbye” turned gossips to rise that the hit show is fated to end after its ongoing third season.
