Count wrestling legend Scott Hall as one of those people who are in Hulk Hogan's corner when it comes to his latest troubles. And the former WWE Intercontinental champion even hinted at a possible Hulkamania return to the WWE.
Fans might remember Hulk Hogan being in the middle of a bitter suit against news website, Gawker. Hogan sued for emotional distress stemming from the news site posting his sex tape with a friend's wife.
Hulk Hogan was also fired from the WWE from using some racist slurs during a conversation. He has already since apologized for his actions. But the WWE has yet to make amends with the guy who turned pro wrestling into a global brand.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, former wrestling superstar, Scott Hall had this to say whether the Hulk can make a WWE return:
"Yes, Hulk will be back. After a thirty-three year relationship with the WWE, he had a bad day-and that bad day was nearly ten years ago."
He also went on to tell the personal things surrounding Hogan during these troubled times.
"That sex tape happened during a brutal time in his life. He was going through a divorce, his son Nick was in a car crash, paralyzed his buddy, and was facing jail time. His daughter was starting her hip-hop career, and Hulk was backing that, paying money out of his own pocket for that."
Wrestling fans would definitely be in for a treat when they read the entire interview. Hall goes on to say his opinions about new superstars like Roman Reigns and Finn Balor as well as talk about his missed opportunity on a title shot. He also had some strong opinions regarding Seth Rollins and whether he is a dirty wrestler.
If Scott Hall is right on this one, wrestling fans might be seeing Hulkamania return to the squared circle one more time.
