'One Punch Man' Funniest Moments: The Most Hilarious Scenes From The Beloved Bald Hero Saitama

"One Punch Man" is widely known not only for its engaging storyline and unique animation style but for its humorous approach as well. Perhaps what really separates it from the rest is its ability to incorporate action and comedy in one. Fans of the hit animated series seem to crave for more especially after the first season. And now that a second installment is on the way, fans are more eager to see what Saitama brings to the table.

While waiting for the grand comeback of "One Punch Man," let's take a look at some of the hilarious moments from our beloved bald hero.

The Story Behind The Hair Loss

One of the most iconic trademarks of Saitama is his bald head. What's interesting is the story behind it. Apparently, Saitama used to have black spiky hair with deep brown eyes. However, after his intense training, he lost his hair and his pupils shrunk to small dots. In the scene, Saitama said, "You gotta train like hell to the point where your hair falls out. That's the only way to become strong." Sure enough, he's baldness becomes the equivalent of strength.

The Intense Training Regime, Saitama Style

In one scene, Saitama boastfully revealed how he got his powers. He specifically detailed his intense training regime - "One hundred push-ups! One hundred sit-ups! One hundred squats! Then a ten-kilometer run! Every single day!" Whew! He made that sound so easy. Even his opponents looked stunned and impressed in that particular scene.

Saitama's Boogey Nightmare

There was a scene in "One Punch Man" where Saitama is past asleep when suddenly, he had a nightmare. In the dream, someone's playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors" with him with a booger on the finger. The manly bald hero woke up shrieking like a teenage girl that made it more hilarious, "Don't come asking to play rock, scissors, paper with a booger on your finger!"

Saitama Misses The Market Sale

Saitama has proven that he's like any of us - a bargain enthusiast! In one episode, the bald hero goes head to head against a very strong opponent, Ashura Kabuto. The opponent was so strong he was tossed around like a rag doll. However, when Saitama realized that Kabuto plans to go on carnage for a whole week, something inside him snapped - he almost forgot it's Saturday! And it only means one thing, "SATURDAY ONLY!!! GIGANTIC SALE!!!" With that in mind, the bald hero sent Kabuto to his defeat with a single punch. Anything for the big sale.

Saitama's Different Punches

If one punch isn't enough, Saitama has a better solution to that. In one episode, when the bald hero faced Boros and had a hard time defeating him, he was left with no choice but to use his special attacks - the "consecutive normal punches" and "serious punch." The names itself are hilarious enough but wait 'til you see its overwhelming powers.

Mosquito Sucks!

Everyone hates mosquito and so is Saitama. In one episode, when Genos was about to lose to Mosquito Girl, Saitama saves the day... naked. He slapped Mosquito Girl on the face, swatting her like a tiny insect. Saitama muttered what everyone probably thought about at one point, "Mosquito sucks!"

Saitama has proven that he's really not a fan of mosquitos. In another scene, while watering the cactus on his balcony, a mosquito kept on pestering him. He mustered all his mosquito-swatting skills to get rid of it but eventually failed. In the end, the mosquito lives and he was exhausted.

These are just a few of the long list of hilarious moments in "One Punch Man." It sure is nice to have a good laugh with your favorite show once in a while. So what do you think is the funniest moment in "One Punch Man"? Share your thoughts below.
