2016 is almost ending. With all the high-end mobile devices released this year, tech enthusiasts are already excited for the upcoming mobile devices to be released next year.
Though there already some leaks about the upcoming smartphones for 2017, the specs and specifications are yet to be confirmed in full details and will probably be changed in the near future. Here are some of the highly anticipated mobile devices to come next year according to Gadgets.NDTV and Tekz24:
Microsoft Surface Phone
There is not much information about this mobile device. However, it is believed that this mobile device was created to save the Windows 10 Mobile.
It is strongly believed by fans and critics that Microsoft is trying to build something that has the internal stuff reminiscent of a laptop, but wrapped in a mobile device which is believed to be the Surface Phone. There is also a rumor that this will have impressive voice command software. With Microsoft's success last month in creating a robot that reaches "human parity" on a level that could be called a historic achievement, it is highly possible that Microsoft will apply it to the upcoming Surface Phone.
Samsung Galaxy S8
This is a mobile device that is highly anticipated by the general public. Not because the public wants it, but out of pure curiosity and the "exchange program" that Samsung launched for the previous Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to have a 5.2 inch 4k display with a 4096 x 2160 screen solution. It will be sporting the new Snapdragon Qualcomm octa-core 3.2 GHz processor and a 6 GB RAM. Front camera is 9 megapixels and the rear camera is 30 megapixels. Battery is 4200 mAh. Some of its key features are the fingerprint scanner, retina eye scanner, wireless charging, rapid charging and mini-projector. About the heating problem like the Galaxy S7, it is still unknown.
iPhone 8
With Apple's success from the iPhone 7, fans and critics are excited for the release of the iPhone 8 next year. It also known that next year will be iPhone's 10th anniversary, so there is really high expectation for the iPhone 8.
There is not much information about the iPhone 8 or any confirmation from Apple. However, rumors say that the iPhone 8 will be "transparent" and will work like the Microsoft Hololens. There is also a rumor that the iPhone 8 will be released right after Samsung's Galaxy S8 release.
Nokia's Android phones
When was the last time you heard from Nokia? Great news for Nokia fans! According to Gadgets.NDTV, Nokia will be launching two Android smartphones next year.
The Finnish company is rumored to unveil its two top-end smartphones in February. It is said that one of the two phones will come in a 5.2 inch display and the other a 5.5 inch panel. Both phones are said to have 2k (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution and OLED screens.
