Fans are in for another exciting episode in "Supergirl" season 2. Episode 5, which will air Monday, Nov. 7, will likely feature the heroine meeting a new villain. Based on the comic book from which the series is adapted, the CW's rising superhero is hinted to finally come face to face with Cyborg Superman.
Recent reports have it that the debut of the super villain Cyborg Superman will happen in the upcoming season 2, episode 5 of "Supergirl." Theories have also been talking about how the TV series might introduce the character in a similar way that the comic book presented it. According to the source material, Cyborg Superman is a powerful robot that carries a mask with the image of Superman. The villain is said to use its mask to hammer the blame on Superman for all the crimes that it is tasked to perform. Cyborg Superman is only one of the three made-up Supermans who in turn claim to be rebirthed by Kal-El.
While the actor who will give life to Cyborg Superman is yet unrevealed, there are speculations swirling that the new villain is actually Supergirl's father, Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain). Theories have it that Danvers was held captive by Cadmus in an undisclosed fortress, where the former was placed under several experiments. Unfortunately, it was not discussed how Danvers became a fighting robot, leaving it as a mere speculation.
Meanwhile, another report shared that Supergirl will face more difficulties as she encounters a gang of criminals armed with threatening alien technology. At a latter part of the episode, Cadmus will be revealed as the one behind the attacking alien gang. It is said that he will send the army to cause havoc in the city which Supergirl and her team should stop.
Furthermore, "Supergirl" season 2, episode 5 will show Mon-El (Chris Wood) developing his character and start interacting with the other members of Supergirl's team. He was recently taken on board by Supergirl herself, which her teammates had a hard time to accept. Yet, trusting Supergirl's judgment, the rest of the team will try to bond with Mon-El.
More thrilling revelations are said to come as "Supergirl" season 2 draws nearer to its midseason finale. Meanwhile, more of Mon-El and the truth about Cyborg Superman are expected to be seen in "Supergirl" season 2, episode 5 which will air tonight, Nov. 7 on CW.
