Sony has confirmed some info regarding its brand new PS4 Pro console, which is going to be available for pre-order right now from online retailers like Amazon and GAME. Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro is almost here, and as most people anticipate, it will mark a leap forward in console gaming. New rumors have the console's official launch on November 10, 2016.
Upcoming games will take full advantage of PS4 Pro's capabilities
During Sony's PlayStation Meeting back in September, president for Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House revealed the new console's various features. Aside from having more power under the hood, the PlayStation 4 Pro offers some much-improved graphics on future upcoming games as well as higher visual quality on various video streaming apps. Upcoming games like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, a brand new Spider-Man game, and Mass Effect: Andromeda will be able to take their full advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro's next level capabilities.
Release date
You will be able to purchase the new PlayStation 4 Pro console once it rolls out in just a few short days from now. Its official release will be on the 10th of November 2016. With that being said, we are only days away from the upcoming official release.
Price & Specs
The upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro will be on sale for £349, which costs pretty much the same same as the original PS4 console when it first launched back in 2013. Specs-wise, the PS4 Pro is focused more as an iterative console to the original PlayStation 4, rather than a complete replacement. It will be supporting the full 4K display, as well as having an upgraded GPU, enhanced clock rate and a 1TB hard drive.
The PS4 Pro will also offer HDR
There will also be support for HDR imaging technology, which will apparently feature a wider range of colors and a more vivid graphics display for those with an HDR-compatible TV. Popular video streaming platforms like Youtube and Netflix will also be updated in order to take full advantage of 4K video streaming.
