Much to the joy of each of the 90s kids who got a taste of the goodness of the shows in Nickelodeon back in the day, it has been confirmed that "That's So Raven" will be getting a spinoff series starring Raven herself. A few details of its storyline have been revealed and it just got the fans all the more raving about it.
"That's So Raven" To Be Rebooted Into A Spinoff Starring Raven Herself And New Addition To Her Life
No one ever saw this coming, a spinoff series for the previous Nickelodeon show entitled "That's So Raven." For those who may not be so familiar of the show, it is about a teenage girl who gets visions of the future and tries to avoid it if it's something horrible. Along with her family and her two best friends, Raven tries to live a normal teenage life with psychic abilities. It has been one of the most beloved television shows back in 2000 and it is what they now call as one of the "90s kids' shows" and it is finally going to be rebooted.
A spinoff series, which is currently only being referred to as "That's So Raven 2" has already been confirmed and will start off with a time jump from when it ended back in 2007, after it's four-year run. Additional information has recently been added about the upcoming series; which is that the storyline will feature Raven's children, and that one of them has inherited Raven's psychic abilities. She will reportedly have two kids in the upcoming spinoff series, a boy and a girl, and the latter will allegedly be the one to inherit her abilities to see the future.
Other Original Characters Yet To Confirm Their Return; Orlando Brown As Eddie Unlikely To Return After Scandal
As for the cast of the upcoming "That's So Raven 2," there haven't been any official announcements yet on the word about having the original characters to reprise their roles. Only lead star Raven-Symoné has been confirmed to reprise her role in the series, and the fans have been wondering if her two best friends will still be around, namely Eddie (Orlando Brown) and Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol).
However, due to actor Orlando's recent shortcomings in life, there's a possibility he won't be returning after all. After having revealed early this year that he had a baby with actress Raven-Symoné to which the latter had aborted, and having been arrested for domestic abuse, it is highly unlikely that he will be returning at all. Nonetheless, the rest are still anticipated to return.
There hasn't been any official announcement yet for the airdate of "That's So Raven 2" but it is expected to premiere sometime next year.
