Singer and actress Selena Gomez and past boyfriend Justin Bieber have been making headlines recently when the latter was reportedly visiting the former in the rehab. It can be recalled that Gomez opted to check in herself for rehabilitation weeks ago following her severe anxiety and depression. This supposed kind gesture of Bieber has sparked countless rumors that the two are back together and are even thinking of getting married soon.
As newly single Bieber was reportedly concerned about Gomez's condition, fans are quick to conclude that the ex-couple is again solid. Rumors even have it that Bieber has been helping in paying the treatment bills of the songstress. No confirmation has been made from both camps though, especially from Gomez who is trying to focus on her recovery. According to sources close to Gomez, the latest rumors are the least of her concerns at the moment.
Whether Bieber is visiting Gomez or not also remains as a speculation. However, the swirling rumors about him marrying his ex-flame and paying for her treatment have been debunked by Gossip Cop. The outlet claimed they were "exclusively told the marriage and 'secret wedding' claims are tabloid fantasy, and aren't worth an ounce of belief."
Meanwhile, talks have it that the family of Gomez is exerting efforts in keeping Bieber away from her. Following the meltdown of the actress on Instagram in August, her family seemed to blame Bieber to the point that her current condition is still accounted to his alleged cheating.
However, with the rumors that Bieber has been regularly visiting Gomez, it appeared to their fans that the latter has already forgiven the Canadian singer most especially that he already called it quits with model Sofia Richie. Considering the duo are now both single, fans are clamoring to see them getting back together.
"It was super-hot and heavy, and because Justin doesn't want a relationship right now, he wanted to cool things down," E! News wrote, in reference to Bieber's breakup with Richie. "It wasn't an intentional cool-off, [it] just sort of happened on its own."
The sad part of this can be picked up with the statement that Bieber is not ready for any romance right now, immediately killing the speculations that he and Gomez are rekindling their past romance.
