After data mining the complete set of Pokémon GO Gen 2 families last Monday, Nov. 7, the latest update has finally revealed the starter models of these families. Nintendo and Niantic both confirmed that all of the Pokémon GO 3D models are in fact reprocessed 3D models from the Pokémon X and Y game.

Pokémon GO - Where Are The Missing Pokémon?
On other news, many players have been left hanging following the revelation of Niantic that Pokémon GO Gen 2 will have 100 additions beginning with #152 Chikorita. The developer has not yet fully confirmed as to whether or not missing Pokémon will still be revealed before Gen 2 comes. Missing Pokémon starts with #132 Ditto, #144 Articuno, #145 Zapdos, #146 Moltres #150 Mewto and #151 Mew.
A recent report from Forbes speculated that considering Ditto's distinct nature, Niantic could have "struggled with how to implement his 'transform' mechanic." In the meantime, Pokémon GO Gen 2 release before 2016 ends has not been confirmed yet.
