ALDC coach and owner Abby Lee Miller continues to deal with cases filed against her. Countless rumors recently surfaced that she might be facing a 10-year jail sentence anytime soon. This is said to put the future of "Dance Moms" at risk. Following this scenario, rumors are rife that Lifetime will have to cancel "Dance Moms" season 7 since Miller cannot run her studio behind the bars.
The sentencing of Miller was once again moved to another schedule from Dec. 2 to Jan, 20, 2017. Following this, a recent report noted that "Dance Moms" season 7 will still push through. As per report, Miller will still appear on the first half of the next season until she already gets a definite sentence for her court cases. Numerous speculations suggest that Miller's popularity contributed for the prosecutor to reduce her jail time to the minimum. However, the possible 10-year jail time is still putting the show at a high risk of cancelation.
While fans are starting to grieve over the impending cancelation of "Dance Moms," there are rumors swirling that Debbie Allen is looking to buy the ALDC. Yet again, the choreographer was found out to have her financial issues of her own and has been dealing with a previous federal tax lien that amounted to $347,871.46. With an even more troublesome new owner coming to the show, it is speculated that Lifetime sees the series already heading to its finale. Despite these rumors though, season 7 is reportedly well underway and has already pre-shooted nine episodes, thus Miller will still be seen on the said season.
Meanwhile, "Dance Moms" season 6 is already heading towards its season finale and it is suffering from the continuous slumping of its ratings. Apart from the supposed humiliation that Miller is giving to its show because of her court cases, her management issues are also said to be the reason behind the show losing not only its viewers but also its dancers.
Both Lifetime and Miller are still not confirming anything regarding these speculations. Thus, fans can still keep their excitement to see "Dance Moms" season 7 which is slated to premiere in 2017.
