Skate 3 Will Be Available On Xbox One; Skate 4 Not Happening?

After almost 6 years of waiting, Skate 3 is now compatible on Xbox One. The game was released in 2010 and was only available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game was such a huge success that fans have been clamoring again and again for Skate 4 ever since but until now there is still no news from EA

Skate 3 Now Compatible For Xbox One

Until today, Skate 3 is still loved by many skateboarders and gamers and showed their support by uploading videos of their gameplay on YouTube. This could be one of the reasons why EA decided to make it compatible with Xbox One too. The backward compatibility program for Skate 3 is receiving positive feedbacks from Reddit users. In fact, fans are encouraging each other to get the game as it may up the chances of Skate 4.

One user said "I literally JUST had a dream that this game came to back compatibility. Also dreamed that Skate 4 was announced shortly after. Fingers crossed." While another user posted "Man wouldn't it be awesome if they dropped a Skate 4 trailer right before dropping Skate 3 BC. People would lose their minds."

Skate 4 Still Not Happening?

However, despite numerous request from fans, EA has yet to comment on the status of Skate 4 and if it will ever happen. Still, fans are being optimistic and are hoping that EA is already considering the game and will one day announce Skate 4 project will finally begin.

Skate 3 has been reviewed positively by critics and garnered a 7.5 rating from Gamespot and an A grade on 1UP.com According to 1UP, they especially liked the game's tutorial saying "Skate 3 also revamps the tutorial and in-game aids." IGN UK gave the game a favorable review and giving it an 8.0 rating. The only concern of IGN was Skate 3 doesn't have any features that it can call its own. But overall, the site is very happy about the game.
